Tourists’ favourite attractions in the Netherlands

Amsterdam, Netherlands - cheapest flights

The Netherlands draw tourists’ attention mostly because of its vibrant capital city with water canals, galleries, museums and many spots to explore. But there are more charming places to visit in Holland than Amsterdam. See for yourself…

Keukenhof Garden

Also called the Garden of Europe, Keukenhof is a must-see for those who just love Dutch culture. It’s the best spot to explore over 700 varieties of tulips – the country’s most popular flower – and take a day off among beautiful views in one of the garden’s sunny patios, restaurants and exhibitions.

Windmills in Kinderdijk

The 19 windmills placed in the village of Kinderdijk were built between 1722 and 1761. As UNESCO World Heritage Sites they are wonderfully preserved and really impressive. They’re open to public between April and October.

Cheese Market in Gouda

This truly historic event is held every Thursday morning from April until the end of August. You can see locals dressed up in costumes and posing for photos, different types of Dutch favourite cheese and negotiations sealed with a handshake.
