Winter X Games, Colorado, USA
This unique sports event full of incredible emotions had its beginnings in 1997 when it gathered more than 38 000 spectators. Every winter sports fan arriving here will be in the seventh heaven. Held from 25 to 28 January winter madness is an event of best winter sports athletes, and all competitions are open and available for free. At the Winter X Games, you’ll have fun also at many musical performances.
Wakakusa Yamayaki in Nara, Japan
In January of each year (this year at January 27th), a dead-end trail on Mount Wakakusayama is warmed up to create an epic show along with the astounding fireworks display. This unusual presentation of burning mountain probably has its origins in the days of border conflicts between the temples of Nara – Todai-ji, and Kofuku-ji, while the second version says about the old method of banishing wild boars. All this does not change the fact that the flaming hill looks phenomenal and indeed is a real attraction that can be seen from every corner of the city!
Carnival in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
This incredible carnival event takes place from 9 to 14 February, and is the largest of its kind in the world – even 2 million people are having fun on the streets of Rio! The festival takes place before Lent, and its phenomenon is that it brings together revelers, dancers of the best samba schools in Rio, all in unusual costumes and dancing to the music that is playing throughout the city. The show delights and each year attracts thousands of tourists from around the world.
Winter Olympic Games in PyeongChang, South Korea
The Olympic Games is a unique event that brings together a multitude of winter sports fans. This year’s event will bring together the best athletes in the world that will give a spectacular show of strength and their passion and will present it to the audience from all over the world. Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland

Diwali in Bombay, India
Festival of Lights, which is a magic event Diwali is a phenomenal show that combines marvellous atmosphere and lovely habits like gift exchanges or lighted lanterns everywhere. Dia de Los Muertos in Mexico
Every year from October 31st to November 2nd is held a traditional celebration of the Feast of the Dead. Extremely colorful parades, unusual customs, and approach to the topic of death makes the event a momentous resemblance to the Carnival in Rio. After the grand spectacle shown in the famous “Spectre” – James Bond movie, the Mexican authorities had to raise the bar, so that Dia de Los Muertos delight even more than before.
Krampusnacht in Tyrol, Austria
The event which is Krampusnacht is based on the story of a mythical Krampus – half goat, half-demon, who sowed terror among the children who have been naughty. Fur, horns and scary face make it became a sort of anti-Santa Claus. The Austrian Alps during the event become extraordinarily dark and seductive at the same time. The display only for the brave takes place on December 5 each year.
